M1 Closure in Chesterfield and Staveley: Emergency Police Operations Halt Traffic, Stranding Thousands of Drivers on the Busy Motorway

Well, it sounds like many of our local drivers had a bit of a shock yesterday! The M1 saw some major disruption, affecting traffic right here in Staveley and our neighbours in Chesterfield due to some urgent police activity. Hope everyone got where they needed to be eventually!
